The Willow Tree Centre

Click here to go to the Willow Tree Centre website.

The Willow Tree Centre is our county campsite, residential training and activity centre. It is a purpose built Holiday House, Training Centre and Camp Site in rural surroundings close to the amenities of Ruislip. It has superb views over the countryside, central heating, and is very comfortably furnished. The building has full disabled access and facilities. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with utensils and place settings for 36 people. There are 2 dormitories, sleeping 16 and 10 people, and 2 Guiders' Rooms with ensuite toilet and shower facilities.
The house and training centre is adjacent to the three campsites. Each site has its own shower and toilet facilities, solid shelter, cooking grid, fresh water tap and ash pit. Two sites are fully equipped with patrol tents and cooking utensils. Patrol cooking equipment can also be hired, and there are facilities for cooking on patrol fires.

Activity equipment is available for Centre users (Football, Archery targets and bows (a qualified instructor is required for this activity), campfire circle, pioneering poles and ropes, assault course).

We were successful in securing a Paradigm Community Grant (London Borough of Hillingdon) and have completed phase 3 of the Tranquil Garden. It is really looking great and we hope that you will gain much pleasure from this area.

You will see two beautiful Rosemary bushes outside the kitchen entrance of the House, a fragrant shrub outside the main door and a replacement tree near the corner. All were presented by 1st Roxeth Brownies and planted by their leader Caroline Davies. A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone!
