The member of 16th Harrow Guides recently did two volunteer sessions at Yeading Walk doing gardening. Yeading Walk is looked after by the local residents passionate about the upkeep of the beautiful linear park in Harrow which follows the Leading Brook.
The Guides helped to litter pick and collected several bags rubbish. They also helped with the flower beds by splitting the snowdrops and planted some lavender. They attended the sessions on a Saturday and they where lucky to have a lovely day allowing them to enjoy a picnic in the sunshine surrounded by the beautiful park they have help to maintain.
Unit Leader, Heena said “the girls loved it and it was great to give back to the local community”
