Brownies Volunteering at a Coronation Big Lunch

We were excited to help when one of our Brownies’ parents asked if the Brownies could lend a hand at Harrow Parent Carers Forum’s Coronation Big Lunch.

9th Headstone Brownies gave an hour or two of their time to volunteer at the Coronation Big Lunch; they helped to keep the fun flowing and the venue clean and tidy by offering drinks and clearing plates. It wasn’t all hard work for the Brownies, they joined in with the Coronation fun too including having their faces painted and riding the teacups many times!

It was a great opportunity for the Brownies to give back to the community and learn about what it means to be a volunteer. Having the Brownies at the event in their uniform was also a brilliant way to talk about Girlguiding and show people how great we are.

We’re already looking forward to helping at their next event.
