We’re excited to re-launch Middlesex North West’s partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation and invite you to join a Zoom call on Wednesday 20th September to learn more about how this can benefit young members, volunteers and local Guiding.
The Jack Petchey Foundation raises aspirations of young people, helps them take advantage of opportunities and play a part in our society. More details can be found on the Foundation’s own site – www.jackpetcheyfoundation.org.uk
Every Unit has the chance to nominate a young member or volunteer between the ages of 11 and 25 for an award and once a year we will have a ceremony to congratulate the winners and present them with their medal and certificate.
Winners also get £300 to spend in their unit for an activity, equipment, camp t-shirts etc.
Adult volunteers (21yrs+) win a larger sum of money for the unit!
We would love unit volunteers to join our Zoom information meeting, hosted by the Jack Petchey Foundation, on Wednesday 20th September at 7:30pm to find out more about the awards and how you can nominate girls/young adults from your unit and benefit from the money being offered to local Girlguiding!
Please register for the call here.
