We are offering an Outdoor Training Weekend on 5th – 6th March 2022, at Willow Tree Campsite, for all Leaders from all sections in Middlesex North West County. This weekend will give all leaders the opportunity to gain new skills or brush up on old ones and help you gain more confidence to offer outdoor experiences to your units. Leaders can stay in the Willow Tree house for the weekend or choose to join just for the day times.
The details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 5th March – Sunday 6th March
Times:
- Full weekend: 10am on Saturday to 4pm on Sunday
- Saturday: 10am to 5:30pm, with the option to stay for dinner and a campfire from 6pm – 8:30pm
- Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Where: Willow Tree Campsite, Breakspear Road North, Harefield, Middlesex UB9 6LZ
Cost: Free, to reserve your space we will require a £15 cheque, which will be returned to you on arrival to the training weekend.
Terms & Conditions
The trip requires a minimum of 10 participants to go ahead. If the minimum number is not meet your cheque will be returned to you. If COVID restriction change and the trip is no longer allowed to go ahead, your cheque will be returned to you. If you do not attend the weekend or cancel within 48 hours of the trip your cheque will not be return. Please note there is a limited number of spaces available, and space will be allocated on a first come first service basis.
Training Session: Tent building, pioneering, whittling, campfire building, campfire cooking, holiday planning, risk assessments and there will be chance to get help with the going away scheme
Meals: On Saturday, lunch and dinner will be provided and on Sunday, breakfast and lunch will be provided. Plus tea and cake will be on offer throughout the weekend.
