5th Hillingdon Brownies attended the Spring Fun Day at Willow Tree on Saturday 23rd April. The event was well organised and we would like to thank all the leaders who helped organise the event and ran activities. We had crafts, ice cream, candy floss, treasure hunts and so much more!!
‘This Day has been so much fun – my favourite part was getting ice cream and making my bead decoration’
– Sophia, aged 8
6th A Headstone Brownies had lots of fun visiting Willow Tree for the Spring fun day. From the moment the Brownies arrived, they were excited to get involved with the many well-resourced and organised activities that had been set up.
Each part of the day was very well planned, with each girl being given a bag with coloured tokens in it that they could use to visit craft stations as well as a bag that they could keep their many creations in. The selection of activities had been thoughtfully created to ensure that there was something on offer for everyone.
The Brownies enjoyed making CD animals, decorating shields and constructing butterflies out of cake to name a few of the many wonderful craft activities on offer. The scavenger hunts that had been organised provided the girls with a chance to explore the grounds of Willow Tree, where they had a fantastic time running around looking for hidden clues!
There was also an opportunity for the girls to visit the Willow Tree shop and buy something to remind them of their day. The Brownies enjoyed their day so much that when it came to home-time, we had lots of girls who wanted to stay for longer with their families. Thank you to all involved in organising and running such a wonderful day.
