About the Competition
This year’s World Thinking Day is a chance to stand together with over ten million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world to call for and create peace; in our lives and in the world.
We have all been through a lot over the past year, but we’ve also had the opportunity to spend more time together, finding out more about ourselves and truly understand the value the of the people around us.
We are inviting all sections to take part in our storytelling competition and explore what friendship and peace means to them.
Competition Categories
Rainbows and Brownies – You will need to draw a picture of what ‘Friendship’ means to you.
Brownies, Guides and Rangers – You will need to write a 500-word story with the theme of ‘Friendship and Peace’.
Prizes to be won and winning entries will be shared on our County Website and in an electronic booklet to be made available across our County.
