Explore Europe Adventures

During my trip around Europe, I travelled to 6 different countries: Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium. It was the most amazing trip ever and I fell in love with every country. My favourite Country was Italy with amazing food and lovely people and sites to see. Although my favourite place was Lake Bled in Slovenia. The clear blue waters shimmered over the lake, the island in the middle was beautiful and paddleboarding was so fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. When in Switzerland I travelled to the Guiding Centre called Our Chalet, it was amazing to see the History of guides and place our trip badge on the infamous badge wall. In Austria we went to fair as it was a cultural festival the day, we went making it even more special as the people buzzed with excitement. In Germany Frankfurt where we went up the famous tower that looks over the entire city. It was beautiful with a bright orange sunset giving the city a wonderful silhouette. Belgium was our final destination before we went home on the Eurostar, yet it was one of the most special. We went around looking at all the famous statues before one final meal at Hard Rock café. It was emotional but beautiful with massive ice creams. We then made some waffles before getting on the train home. It was the most amazing trip, and my group were honestly amazing. I won’t ever forget this trip and due to it I found a love for travel so do apply as it is amazing. The friends I made won’t ever be left behind as I remember all the late nights and jokes, we had. It is totally worth every penny and you won’t ever regret going if you get the opportunity.

While I was travelling with Girlguiding I made lifelong friends and long-lasting memories. I started my trip by flying to Prague where I tasted local cuisine and explored a foreign city. Then we took the train to Viena and had a day trip to Bratislava, then via sleeper train I went to Verona and there I had a day trip to Gada where I was able to swim and paddleboard in the beautiful lakes. After that I travelled to the World Scout centre in kindersteg. Here I also visited our chalet this was an amazing experience allowing me to meet girl scouts from around the world allowing me to hear about their amazing unique experiences. Then I took another sleeper train to Zurich where I was able to go on a cruise of the city before travelling Colone, then our destination Brussels before returning home on the Eurostar. This was an incredible once in a lifetime trip that I strongly encourage any adventurous girl guides to go for.
