Get qualified so you can respond in emergencies – as well as to bumps, cuts and bruises

We encourage all of our volunteers to complete first aid training to ensure that Girlguiding members are kept as safe as possible when they are in our care. If you need to renew your qualification (you will be sent a reminder via Go Communication in plenty of time) or are taking the course for the first time the County will be holding a face to face training session.  Find out about our 1st Response first aid training, what external first aid courses we accept, and how to keep your skills up to date.

You will also need to complete the e learning which can be found on the Girl Guiding website/making Guiding happen/learning and development/first aid training/1st Response Training. Your GO record cannot be updated until both elements have been completed.
