World Thinking Day takes place on 22nd February every year. It’s a day when Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from all over the world celebrate being part of a worldwide movement. 22nd February was chosen because it was the birthday of Lord Baden Powell, who started the Scouts, and his wife Olave, who was the Chief Guide. Yes that’s right, they shared a birthday!
