Jack Petchey Autumn Award Winners 2024

We continued to receive nominations from across all the Divisions in our County for more amazing young members and young adults.

We are pleased to share with you the winners of the 2024 Autumn nominations. They were notified in October and will be invited to a Jack Petchey awards evening to receive their medals in the new year.

Here are some of the wonderful things that were said about our winners:

“From start to finish both the girls put in a heroic effort and their input was significant to the success of the event. I am extremely grateful to them and it makes me smile when thinking about all they did”
“She had always made it her mission to get everyone involved with everything”
“She has developed good leadership skills and confidence and has an excellent rapport with the girls.”
“An asset to our unit, she helps with the planning the program as well as organising events. She is extremely responsible and will use her own initiative with the guides”
“She brings an energy and dynamic to our unit that strengthens the relationship between the adult leaders that have been around in guiding for 20+ years and the girls.”
“Supports and nurtures each and every guide to do their best.”
