We are delighted to open registration for our County Day taking place on Sunday 15th October. The event starts at 9:30am, until 4pm, at Bentley Priory Museum, where we have exclusive use.
On the day the doors will open from 9:00am. Come along to socialise with volunteers across the County and join a variety of workshops on areas like top tips for running a unit, unit programme ideas, growing your unit and much more.
Our County Team will be available to offer advice, and we will have IT support for those with Go and Learning Platform queries. You can pre-submit questions on the sign up form, so that we can tailor the support to those who attend. DBS ID verifiers will also be on hand to complete new DBS checks and renewals.
We also have a wellbeing space where you take some time out, catch up with friends and make some new ones, have a go at some craft and even indulge in a relaxing treat! In addition you will have the chance to explore the museum for free and enjoy the grounds (weather willing!)
On the day
On arrival you will be greeted with tea/coffee and sweet treats before we kick off with a welcome from our County Commissioner Jenni and Assistant County Commissioner’s Jade & Marian. Throughout the day there will be 4 sessions, you have the option of choosing which workshop you would like to attend from the offering listed below.

Each unit in attendance at County Day will be given a £10 voucher to spend at our County Volunteer Shops. You can top up your unit programme resources or be super organised and pick up Christmas gifts!

Our County Volunteer Shops and Willow Tree shop will be available for pre orders and for browsing. There will also be a selection of badges raising money for Willow Tree – lots of temptation to add to your Camp Blanket (or badge pile!)

Refreshments will be available throughout the day in the Café and lunch is provided for all attendees. Please use the sign up form to note any dietary requirements.

We will be providing a Shuttle bus, available from Stanmore Station. To take advantage of this, please make sure you select this on the sign up form.
The County thanks Bently Priory Museum who has generously gifted us the use of the venue free of charge for our County Day. The curators of the museum are working of an exhibition about Women in the War and have engaged with our members as part of their research. We are looking forward to the launch of their exhibition and hope to see lots of units visiting the museum.
